Latrell Scott (born July 17, 1975) is the former head coach of the Richmond Spiders college football team representing the University of Richmond. He was named to the position on December 15, 2009.[1] Before taking the head coaching position at Richmond, Scott served as the wide receivers coach at several programs, including the University of Virginia, University of Tennessee, Richmond, Virginia Military Institute, and Western Carolina University. He also served as an assistant coach at Fork Union Military Academy.[1] At 34 years old, Scott was the youngest head coach in NCAA Division I football at the time of his hiring.[2] Scott resigned from his coaching duties at the University of Richmond on August 23, 2011 after being charged with driving while intoxicated.[3][4] Scott's resignation came just a week before the team's first game of the season.

Scott grew up in the Richmond area and attended Lee-Davis High School.[5]
